The CASØ Nord dining table makes it possible to create a stylish and timeless dining room environment. The dining table is designed to combine classic Scandinavian elegance with high functionality. The Nord tables are designed by Steffensen&Würtz - a design duo who wishes to make functional and beautiful furniture pieces that will add value to everyday life.
This dining table is made of solid oak. Oak is a popular wood for furniture for several reasons. Solid oak is extremely durable and provides furniture that will last many years. The natural flow of the wood grain is visible and brings great aesthetics to any furniture. CASØ Nord is treated with oil, which only supports the natural functions of the wood.
The CASØ Nord dining table is stocked in two different colours
- Oak / white oil
- Oak / natural oil
Both of these colours highlight the structure of the wood. While white oil is light and modern, natural oil brings warmth and depth to the wood. Natural oil furniture is becoming more and more popular in Scandinavian homes.
In addition to the two colours, the Nord dining table is also stocked in two different sizes

The CASØ Nord dining tables are equipped with a smart and practical butterfly extension plate in both sizes. The extension is integrated into the dining tables and is made of veneered oak. The Butterfly extension makes it incredibly easy and quick to extend the tables without the need for extra storage space.
The Butterfly leaf in the small Nord dining table is 80 cm, while it is 90 cm in the large dining table.

The design duo Thomas Steffensen and Pia Würtz are examined industrial designers and have worked with design and development in Steffensen&Würtz since 2014.
"Our design studio is based by the Aalborg harbor in the old Limfjordsværft. A location that still holds the old shipyard atmosphere.
We employ ourselves in furniture and product design. The outset is in all the things that we surround ourselves with in our everyday lives. We find high value in creating functional designs with a long lifespan. This implies that aesthetics, forms, functions, materials, and ways of production are all well-thought-through to allow a design to become part of the family and the home for years to come and from generation to generation."
