CASØ 777 sideboard, small

By Steffensen&Würtz

The CASØ 777 sideboard is a beautiful piece of furniture designed by Steffensen&Würtz, offering fantastic storage solutions.

The design is a new interpretation of the old louvre/shutter doors with the desire to create a more curved and soft design.

This is especially expressed in the design of the front doors as the classical shutter look creates beautiful horizontal lines. The soft and curved profile from the front is in stunning contrast to the more stringent legs.

The sideboard is designed with three wooden doors – all with wood milling, creating the shutter effect. Behind the door, furthest to the left is a small room with one wooden shelf. The two doors to the right contain a larger room without division and with one wooden shelf. Both shelves are adjustable.

The CASØ 777 sideboard is made of veneered oak wood with fronts and legs in solid oak wood.

Common to all cabinet furniture in the CASØ 777 series, is the availability of angled, straight, or round legs. Each type gives a special expression and makes the furniture very versatile.

In addition to the various leg styles, the sideboard is also available in three different colours. These are:
- Oak / White oil
- Oak / Natural oil
- Oak / Smoked oil

Each colour creates a unique look. The white oil is very light and welcoming to look at; the natural oil is more golden and warmer, and the smoked oil is even warmer and exclusive.

The design duo Thomas Steffensen and Pia Würtz are examined industrial designers and have worked with design and development in Steffensen&Würtz since 2014.

"Our design studio is based by the Aalborg harbor in the old Limfjordsværft. A location that still holds the old shipyard atmosphere.
We employ ourselves in furniture and product design. The outset is in all the things that we surround ourselves with in our everyday lives. We find high value in creating functional designs with a long lifespan. This implies that aesthetics, forms, functions, materials, and ways of production are all well-thought-through to allow a design to become part of the family and the home for years to come and from generation to generation."
