‘EVA is narrow across the shoulders, has full hips and represents the feminine lines in a dignified way.’ The words come from designer Niels Koefoed, and the year is 1964.
The EVA chair was part of Koefoed's Furniture Factory's ‘The Three Lovely Girls’ brand and was the best-selling chair at Koefoed's Furniture Factory at the time.
The chair is still popular and is regularly sought after on well-known auction sites. The reproduced version has been given a contemporary lift but still retains the classic look with all the original details preserved.
Like all other chairs produced by CASØ Furniture, great emphasis has been placed on both design and comfort in the reproduction of Eva.
The EVA chair is available in the following variants:
- Oak / white oil
- Oak / natural oil
All variants have a black leather seat that emphasises the classic design and comfort.

CASØ Furniture has made a cooperation with Koefoed's Møbelfabrik around a reproduction of multiple classic chairs from the 1950's and 1960's. The chairs have gone through a design lift, so that todays minimalistic cut is underlined. Most important is that all the classic details have been retained, and the popular chairs are still unique.
Our vision is to deliver furniture in an innovative design, where quality, service and product development takes pride of place. Design and development is also highly prioritized as we put an emphasis on expanding our product range with focus on future trends - where competitive prices and quality are natural companions.
